December 8, 2022 at the Palace of Students n.a. U.A. Zholdasbekov a festive concert “Favorite songs of D.A. Kunaev”, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of Dinmukhammed Akhmedovich Kunaev was held.
Purpose of the event: 60-80s marked a period of high development of culture and art of the country. Under the leadership of D.A. Kunaev, new cultural centers were opened in the country, new, previously non-existent forms of theater and concert organizations appeared. The goal is to familiarize, promote the activities of D.A. Kunaev, nicknamed «The Man of the Century» in the field of culture and art.
Guests of the evening: MEZZO group, Erkesh Shakeev, Alibek Dnishev, Aizhan Nurmagambetova, Zhantik BAND group, Erbol Spanaliev, «Dervishes» group, Nurlan Abdullin, Parviz Nazarov and other famous stars and young talents.
Favorite songs of Dinmukhammed Akhmedovich Kunaev from among the works of Soviet and Kazakh composers were performed at the concert.
A traveling exhibition of the museum «The Epoch of Kunaev» was held. The exhibition was visited by 1500 spectators.
The concert was attended by: Akimat of Almaty city, City Department of Culture and Archives, Akimat of Medeu district, Colleagues and successors of D.A. Kunaev, state and political figures, veterans of war and labor, relatives of D.A. Kunaev, as well as residents of the city.
