From October 25 to October 27, 2022, the international forum «Museum practice in Central Asia: France + 5» was held in Almaty as part of the Days of Innovation and Culture of France («French Innovation Culture Days»). Forum was organized together with the State Enterprise «Association of Museums of Almaty City» and the French company Dualest SAS with the support of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the city of Almaty.
The forum was attended by invited experts from the creative and museum industry from France, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Over the course of three days, meetings were held with representatives of the three countries dedicated to culture, museums, the creative industry and innovative technologies, which are an important lever for openness to the modern world.
As a result of the forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Association of Museums of Almaty City and the heads of delegations from France and Uzbekistan.
