This year marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of the teacher of the nation, statesman and public figure, scientist-reformer — Ahmet Baitursynuly.
On November 11, 2022, with the support of the Akimat of the city of Almaty, the International Scientific and Practical Conference «AKHMET BAITURSYNULY — ULT USTAZY» was held in the House of Friendship.
The purpose of the conference is a comprehensive scientific analysis of the heritage of Akhmet Baitursynuly with the participation of domestic and foreign scientists, discussion of topical problems of Akhmet studies, discovery of new points of view and conclusions about the life and work of the scientist.
The conference was attended by more than 100 scientists and researchers: local and from near and far abroad. Presentations will be made by such scientists as Professor Nergiz Biray, Professor Gulzhanat Erjilasun, Bekir Tumen Somynzhyuly (Turkia), Phd Ozgezhan Kisiji (Germany), Professor Hisao Komatsu (Japan), Professor Kim Sang Chul (Korea), Professor Mahanbet Zhusipov, Bakhrom Irzaev (Uzbekistan) and associate professor Zukhra Altymysheva (Kyrgyzstan).
In addition, there was a presentation of a 12-volume collection of works by Ahmet Baitursynuly, a research book about Ahmet Baitursynuly written by professor at the University of Pamukkale in Turkey, Alash scholar Nergiz Birai and literary work “Gasyr sanlagy” written by the head of the House-Museum of A. Baitursynuly, the famous scholar of Akhmet Imahanbet Raihan Sahybekovna.
